I like scotch, mostly because the hangover likelihood/intensity is reduced. This, IMO, is the primary reason for drinking high quality alcohol. Bad alcohol (bottom shelf, sweet drinks, cheap beer and wine), on the other hand gives me the screamin' hangover, often before I've stopped drinking. Don Draper drinks rye, BTW.
